How to Make Bhatura Recipe | Steps by steps Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

2. Add the plain yogurt and 1 tbsp of olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix with your hands or a spoon until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

3. Slowly add the warm water, a little at a time, and knead the dough until it comes together into a smooth and soft ball. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour.

4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.

5. Heat enough olive oil in a frying pan for deep-frying over medium heat.

6. Divide the dough into 8 equal-sized balls and roll them out into thin circles using a rolling pin.

7. Fry the bhaturas one at a time, gently placing them in the hot oil and pressing them down lightly with a slotted spoon. This will help the bhaturas puff up.

8. Once the bhaturas are golden brown and puffed up, remove them from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

9. While the bhaturas are still hot, sprinkle them with a pinch of salt and your desired dried spices. This will ensure that the spices stick to the bhaturas.

10. Serve the bhaturas hot with your favorite curry or chutney. Enjoy your delicious and easy homemade bhaturas
